I got my 07 used and it had some stuff done to already. I changed out the risers to 9.5" pullbacks and got a new seat asap. That stock badlander killed me.
That stock seat was killing my @$$ so, a new corbin. Next was the CB rear wheel I hated that cast rear wheel. Of course this was after I tore off those reflectors and replaced the turn signal covers w/ the smoked ones.
Bars. I must have an iron butt, because the badlander never hurt me, even on 12+ hour rides. But after 500 miles with those stock bars, my back hurt just thinking about riding.
New pipes, A/C, Seat, Bars, Grips and Pegs, will have the most visual impact but after that any and every single piece of that bike can be customized. There are so many nice examples on this forum that you can spend months looking at all the different looks guys have come up with.
the softail night train got big potential for many aftermarket choices, but in stock form I am almost shame to come out on the road(please don't get this personally)just my taste, handlebars sucks, head light sucks sets to high on the back seat sucks pipes sucks.........
those thinks must go even before I get the bike on the road.
by the way I am going tomorrow on the morning to tray to pick one up,wish me luck.
I dont take it personally....
