Default Installing Bareback Saddlebag mounts

OK, so what is the trick to get the bag on the strut hardware? It looks like it should slide right on???? Everything seems to be lined up, but I can not get either side to snap on.

Appreciate any help I can get from them in the know.

I have the same setup, make sure you are pulling the spring retainer thingys back. I still have to put the back on first and then rotate forward a bit to get the front on.

I just installed a set on my XBones last week. You must make sure that the slots are pointing down and not tilted to the sides any. Then slide back the spring loaded slide on the rear one and insert onto the bike. Then repeat for the front one. It is much easier to do the back first and just rotate the front in. It is almost impossible to put them both on at the same time. Also make sure that you don't have the washer on the bag side of the spring loaded slide...if so that might be interfering enough to keep it from sliding on. Jerry
