Default Battery Weeping = What do I do?

My Battery started weeping around the caps. No damage just a PITA. Is there anything I can do to it or am I in store of a sealed "Maintinance Free" battery. The voltage is good, no smell. Just rode two days of freeway both 5 hour rides and it weeped out the top.

Change the battery over to a sealed unit.

It could be a sign of overcharging. I would get the charging system checked out.
If that's not it, I'd by a new battery.

When the bike is running, What should my volt meter read at the battery to see if it is over charging?

overcharging usually happens around over 13.8 volts. Normal batter is around 12.6 volts, then on the battery tender around 13.8. If you are reading higher than that, then could read an overcharge.

My batter was down to 11 volts last week, put in on the charger, got it back to 12.6 volts and then rode for the day, got back and plugged into battery tender, was reading that it was charged to the max.

Normal running charge on a fully charged battery is 13.8-14 volts.
