Default Rocker Wheels Chromed

Hey Guys, I am going to have a set of wheels for my Rocker chromed and was wondering if anyone in here has had experience with Chrome Pro's Plating in CA. They sell a lot on E-bay and a lot of the feedback says the same thing. Great work but slow and not so great communication. I'm not in a hurry as these are an extra set so the bike will not be down. Quality work is much more important to me than speed so this is not a big concern but if anyone here has dealt with them please relay your experience here. Thanks in advance.

I have no idea about the guy in cali but I have been told the wheels on the rocker cannot be chromed properly.. The best they can do is polish them and seal them to give them lack lusting chrome look.. Make sure you ask them if its chrome or polish.. Keep us posted and good luck..

I ran into a guy at the Waco Harley stealership a couple of weeks ago who had chromed his Rocker wheels, and pulley. I saw them up close and they looked good. He gave me a number to a shop up towards Dallas where he had the work done. He said they charged him 500.00 for both wheels, he had to take all the hardware off the wheels before he dropped them off. I just took the two struts up there monday for the touring set up to get chromed and they said they would do it for 90.00. Told me it would be about a week and a half. I will try to post some pics when I get them back. Will probably take the wheels also later in the fall, closer to winter.

Joe, you cant be serious. Go to an easyriders show. Turn yours in and walk away with a set. I saw two different company's there. Just the one had some in stock. 500 bucks. Since they used them to display their quality work, I dont have to mention how nice they look.

Be careful doing an exchange. If possible have your own wheels chromed. People send in damaged wheels to chromers all the time to get good ones back. The next guy gets a nice chromed set of bad wheels.

I have to agree with Steve - I can't see any reason they can't be " chromed properly " - I don't know who told you that but I'd ask for a explaination. I am going to have my wheels chromed ( not exchange ) so I'm goin for it.
