anyone else have this problem? My little finger goes numb after riding about 30 miles. Would new grips fix?

there is a small 'palm rest' piece of plastic that you can put on your right grip.
It works for me.

here is a link to one manufacturer ...some are slightly different but serve the same purpose.

Your dealer probably has some in stock.
They are inexpensive...worth a try.

You might be gripping the handlebars too tightly. Try a looser grip. I know that these machines are a "handful" in terms of speed, but you don't have to maintain a deathgrip on the bars.

not carpal tunnel as it doesn't affect the little finger, but probably some other nerve problem.

everyone has there comfortable positioning.

Could be as simple as holding on to tight, right on up to needing different positioning on the bike.

I'd start with just trying to relax your grip. Then try the add on palm rests or whatever they are. After that I'd look at changing bars. Something that puts your wrists in a different position.

All part of making your bike yours and comfortable for you.

Good luck!

You might want to look in to Kuri ISO grips with a throttle boss (that's what the "little piece of plastic" is). They reduce the vibration to your hand and the throttle boss lets you keep the throttle open using the ball of your your palm so you can really relax the grip with your fingers.

You need a throttle rocker.

I agree with some of the other posts... grip too tight. I also ride with the throttle boss
