Default Crossbones and Forward Controls

So has anyone out there ditched their Crossbones floorboards for forward controls? If so, what did you buy? Did you do the work yourself? Any pics?

Thanks,
Scott

You bet. I got the HD FL conversion kit and used the Rocker Pegs with the Curb Finders cause I drag them. I did all the work myself. Check out my albums for more pics.

I did the exact same, except I used the diamond black pegs. It was a very straightforward job, took less than an hour. The master cylinder has to be removed, so get yourself some new crush washers for the banjo fitting. If you don't already have one, a brake bleeding kit will make your life a lot easier.

If I ever get around to washing the bike I'll get some pics up

Thanks guys. Yeah, I think I'm headed this way. Never been a big floorboard fan. And my legs feel a bit long for them as it is.

Do you have a Part Number for the conversion kit? I can't seem to find that online.

Thanks,
Scott

Anything needed besides the kit and a set of pegs? I think I am ready to switch.

banjo bolt washers and a brake bleeder... and a bit of patience when it comes to reassembling the jiffy stand.
