I just ordered the Tsukayu Quick Release Strong hard bags for my 07.
I was kind of in the same position you are, not happy with the bags available with the stock pipes.
My sig doesn't show it but I have since put on a set of Hooker Troublemakers (love them by the way) to make room for a larger bag. Researched all of the leather bags available but really like the looks of hard saddlebags. But wanted quick release brackets cause I only want to put the bags on when I need them...
Heard from another member here about the Tsukayu hardbags and after a bunch of research, ordered them yesterday.
Price wise I picked up the bags painted with Ghost Brackets and chrome luggage racks for under $775.00! Now I'm just sitting here waiting for them to come in...
I have Osprey "Bull Bags" on my bike . They are much larger than the HD Bags, they measure 21 long by 7 wide by 13 deep and are the largest bags you can fit without relocating the turn signals on a Fatboy. Great quality and price with EZ Brackets starts at less than $ 500 including shipping.
Can anyone answer this about these bags.
1.) Can they be locked?
2.) Do they fit both with stock and aftermarket exhaust?
3.) Can the quick release easy brackets be used at the same time with detachable sissy bars and other detachable items?
Also, the ones on the page show a 19" bag. I wonder if they are somehow comparing the usable length of the bag.

1. Yes they can be locked with small (TSA type Luggage) padlocks through the straps or Osprey can also add a lock to the bags. I dont know what that lock that he installs looks like since I dont have it. I just loop the small padlock through the strap and quick detach.
2. Yes they will fit with any exhaust based on where you mount the EZ Brackest to raise or lower the bags. I have mine about as low as they can be mounted.
3. Yes , caLL EZ Brackest or go on their web site they work with the HD Quick detach hardware.
4. I think the measurement is accross the top whick is where they mount to the strut. Mine are 21 at the widest part. They are much larger than the FB Bags from HD. They are larger than the Heritage bags.

Thanks for the info! I am assuming thier quick release easy brackets are the EZ Brackets. If so, that is a really good deal. The brackets alone are $150.
I have the H-D non removable bags. I prefer the look of the bike without the bags , but they do match the seat and console and hold just enough stuff for lil trips.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'm trying to maximize storage, but I really don't want to change the look of the bike otherwise. I'm in the process of changing the seat to the mustang, so matching it out isn't an issue.
I do plan to change the pipes out in the near future. So, i need bags that'll work either way. I think these'll work great.
I just put RK Custom bags on my Fatty using the Baggertail mounts. I had EZ brackets at first so they would be removable because I was only going to put them on once in awhile but I actually love the way they look. All of the removable mounts stick out way too much and I could remove the baggertail in about 5 minutes.

Yes, the brackets are new in the box EZ Brackets.
The Osprey Bags really are a great deal for a high quality (thick leather and hardware) saddle bag and a top brand detachable bracket. I dont know what the prices are now but mine were under $ 500 delivered

Do you know off-hand if you can change the mounting without destroying the bag if you change your exhaust? For now, I have the stock exhaust, and I would set them at one height. But when I change the exhaust to a lower style (V&H staggered), I probably will want to move them lower...maybe.
