will rainX hurt my windshild? it says do noy use on plastic.

Its been known to turn some kinds of plastic milky white so I would not use it.
But you can use regular car wax to do the same thing without worrying about it.
It will do the same thing as RainX, it just doesn't last as long.

You might want to check out the touring section. The odds are goood that those guys would know EXACTLY what you can and can't use on a windshield because they all have them.

i use the wax from the car wash. I use the foam brush to wash the bike. never use the degreaser as it screws up the polished aluminum

I believe the shield is made of lexan, not plastic, which is made of polycarbonate which usually is chemical resistant. Still I won't use it, they make polish for motorcycle windshilds and thats what I'd use...Plexus is great and what I like..

Rainx melts the shield making is impossible to see through it.
