I have the PCV on my bike and it runs great! But i guess mine is a fake one isnt it? goen by what you say...cough cough BULLSH*T im sure the other thousands of bikes around this site would like to know they are running fake tuners. so why dont you tell them again
Whatever, As stated I was just repeating what I was told by a friend that is a HD mechanic and I also read something about it on here a couple of weeks ago. I don't know the whole story and don't really care.
And yes many bikes run great with the PC's and other piggyback tuners. I hope it lasts for you.
All you would have to do is unplug the PC and the MOCO would NEVER know it was ever on, then they would warranty it.
yea all i have to do is unplug the thundermax and plug in the harley ecm and see if the issue resolves. if it does not then it is a harley issue.
Love my thundermax
i had PCIII and it was great too after the $400 dyno tune but it did not return itself like the thundermax did when i road from 800ft to 10,000 ft on my trip to the mountains
and the debate rolls on.
Since when does hitting the rev limiter void warranty? Pretty sure that the rev limiter is put on the bike to not allow it to rev to unsafe RPM's.
i think the point was that the PC will let you set the rev limit higher than stock. that in it self should not void a warranty. running the engine with low or no oil may.

This isn't true, the PC cannot make adjustments to the ECM. To change the rev limiter you need a SERT , SEST or TTS.
