I just rode my bike back from my buddys shop....Me and him together couldnt get them fvcking pins on the connectors ran through my bar and integrated riser combo. We got pissed like blknchrome did above and out came the wire cutters and soldering iron. Splicing is a viable option!!

Now I need to relearn how to ride my bike with 35" wide bars.

Touchy is an understatement compared to my street slammer 31"s. Lots of leverage....But I cut through the wind a bit better?

Cut them fvckers and git er' done!!

Lots and lots of light made a HUGE difference in seeing what you are doing inside those molex connectors. A sewing pin/needle can get it done. Now I guess if you're putting on wide beach bars or something, you need to extend the wires anyway, so I guess cutting them is required, ALTHOUGH, I thought I had read somewhere on here that someone makes an extension kit that includes all plugs, and eliminates the need for cutting (in the event you are adding wider bars that require longer wires).

removing the pins was a pain unless you know which side of the connector to remove. That was my problem. I pulled back the ORANGE RUBBER SEAL on the back of the connector instead of the front ORANGE PLASTIC PIECE. You pry the orange plastic piece up and the connectors are very easy to release.
