Break Heat/ Rub
My questions to you guys are;
1. Do you have to remove the disc off the rim to put on new rubber?
2. Did the guy doing it tighten the breaks up so now they are rubbing?
3. How warm are the disc going to get coming from a 45 MPH stop and should my glove start to smoke when I touch it real quick?
BTW if you have the wheel and tire coverage it works like a champ! $110 tow, $189.00 tire, and $65 (I think) labor charge...FREE!

No

I don't know

No
When the rear wheel is removed to change a tire sometimes the brake pads and pistons in the caliper need to be pushed back slightly to get the wheel back over the disc. If it were me, I'd take it back to the same guy and show him what happened. You could pull the wheel, remove the pads, clean the pistons, put it all back together and see if that makes a difference.

Wow!!!!!!! You are amazing! You can diagnose all that over the internet? First of all, on a tire change, the caliper pistons are pushed back into the bore in order to remove the caliper from the rotor and to make it easy to slide it back on. Secondly, I doubt if the tech even touched the adjusters, he loosened up the axle, popped it out, remove the wheel, then replaced the wheel after the tire change.
There is no adjustment to the brake pads, you seat bolts and torque them, if you even do that in this case, which you don't.

lol didnt know i diagnosed it, i said SOUNDS like and he will proly have to replace the rotor cuz it got so hot.........and any tech that takes a wheel off should lossen the adjusters and adjust belt tension when the wheel is put back on.........and to check his belt to see if that rubbed............did they teach you to read in NJ
I learned to read in NYC. I guess you were never taught how to work on a bike where ever you are?
Obviously there is a problem. Let him take it in to check it out. Some things can not be diagnosed over the internet, tough guy! You sir are a douche!
