I had the Night Train 6" risers and drag bars on my FXST for a while. After riding from Oklahoma City to Austin in '07 (1400 mi round trip), I decided to make a change. I went with the Carlini Original T-Bars 1.5". 7" rise, 7" pullback. Love them.

I must be the perfect height with the perfect arm length for the Night Train (I'm 6').

I find the reach, with elbows slightly bent, pretty comfortable. I could use some more extension on the controls, but I'm pretty comfortable there too and haven't deemed it worth spending the extra $$$.

The only "comfort" issue I have so far is with the seat and long highway distances. The Badlander is comfortable for everything else though.

I just ordered wild1 500 6" pullback bars. I also sent my seat into mean city cycles. I won't be able to test them out until late July/early august though since I'm in Egypt. But when I get back I will put in a review.

I love the look with the straight risers. But it was way to uncomfortable for me. I put a set of black t-bars on and they were still uncomfortable for me. So I decided to put apes on. I had never rode a bike with apes but I figured they would have to be more comfortable than I was. Now it's the most comfortable I've been on any bike I've ever had. I love the apes!

Chop On,
Robert
