Night Train Handle Bars
I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem that im having. I am only 5'9 and the reach is just to much and gets very uncomfortable after about 80-90miles. I am thinking about changing the bars but i dont want to do anything to drastic. I would like to use to stock cables. The stealership has a kit just for the night train but i have not seen the set up on any bike. If anyone has photos of the kit or any other ideas i would apprecieate it
Exactly what I did. I'm happy with the setup for now. Thinking about apes this winter.
Thanks for the info. I will try a set of 6" risers first since they are pretty cheap. I am stoked to put on my new hooker troublemaker pipes but am gonna wait till my tmax gets here. I will post about how that goes

I'm 5'5" on a good day and I really like the stock NT set up. First, I'm flat footed. Second, I like the slight lean forward and the feel of the stock drag bar. At first it did caused minor discomfort (muscle ache) but like the Army teaches: You don't break in a new pair of boots; you break in your feet. Now I feel great on it. I thought about the 6" riser but I don't want to sit up straight on a NT. Kind of changes the whole thing for me. My last bike was a Ducati. You want discomfort? Ride one of those. So much weight on your wrists that they fall asleep. Maybe that's why I can tolerate the NT. It feels great to me. I've sat on a Softail Deluxe and I'll admit, that's pure comfort. But, I'm not there yet. Enjoying the train too much.
I put the 6'' pulback risers on mine a couple weeks ago and like them so far. Have gone a few hundred miles and I must say it's better than the straight ones. The pain across my shoulders is gone now, I rode for over 3hrs last sat. I do sit up more with them. I also like the riser look over the T bars
I am actually thinking of pullback bars. I did an almost 200 mile ride a week ago and my hands were almost numb by the time I got to my first destination. I love the positioning of the NT, but after a certain # of miles, it gets... tingly.
