Crossbones.....the right bike for me?
If she likes it start looking around for a take off seat. You'll need a sissy bar to go with it, cause that's how the seat gets attached. But they are neither hard to find or especially expensive and you can get a bit creative if you want and make your own sissy bar, mount it to a QD set of side plates and get it powder coated black so it "fit's" the bikes overall look better than the standard chrome Custom one.
Harley even offers a nice twisted square tube one (with a matching rack if needed) that is taller than the stock one if you like.
But the Customs seat is about the best one Harley puts on any of the Softails and you can get a take off on evil-bay or Craigslist a hell of a lot cheaper than most, if not all of the aftermarket ones.
Even if its not perfect for her its simple (and relatively inexpensive) to have someone like Mean City Cycles (http://www.meancitycycles.com/) modify it to fit her butt, and your's better.
Good Luck picking your new ride, your going to love riding a Softy.
Even if it can't keep up with a Sporty in the twisties, it will run down the interstate all day long with the Mrs. on the back.
