Come on guys is this all this thread could muster? I know you guys have more information and can recommend the best kit with the slimmest ballast for a good price. Let's hear it, the collective knowledge on this site is amazing

Hid lights

I have the kit from Howard at motorcycle metal, nice kit works excellent and would recommend it to anyone you just can't believe the difference in lighting and they draw abt 1/3 less power than stock. Howards kit uses a relay to control the HID so thed only thing your handlebar wiring does is switch the relay. REED

Motorcycle Metal has nice stuff. Howard is on HD Forums and knows his chit.

I came across kits that cost less from companies I've never delt with. Can't vouch for quality or ballast size though.

So what about the guy in the vendor classified offering a kit for $60? Yeah or neigh? Cheap garbage? I know Howard has good stuff. Also, when a bulb burns out, are the replacements extremely expensive? I want to know what I am getting myself into.
