Default Solo Saddlebag

The kind you see mostly on the left side down low on the bike.
I do like the way the look.

Any comments welcome before I make, or not another investment.

Thanks

I have one. I have read quite a few threads about the paint wearing off the swing arm where the bag mounts from the rubbing of the straps. I made a bracket for mine that mounts to the rear foot peg hole and to one of the strut bolts. You might want to try that or wrap the swing arm with electrical tape where the straps go. That is my .02.

I got mine from Leatherworks; but Garage Leathers also has them.

Watch for paint rubbing on the swing arms (wrap something), avoid Larosa, their buckles rust and what a lovely life you will have if that goes into your swing arm.
Mind you they don't keep the shape.

Garage Works are the best by far,

I mounted mine on the right (just a different setup) and found it to be more appealing this way (p.s. I did put the studs myself and they made a big difference).

I prefer the right also because I can actually see my swing arm and my belt on the left side, it was kinda killing the wheel look.

I purchased the Garage Leathers Solo Bag, it is well made and sturdy.

Get a good quality one like Garage Leathers, Leather Works, or Sokustom.com. You will like it. They are great to put extra stuff in. But AVOID LaRosa at all cost!! I have one from LaRosa and it doesn't hold it's shape at all. The black dye don't last long either. I haven't had any problems with the paint on swingarm wearing though.

Chop On,
Robert
