part #54665-03....
looks like stock deluxe shocks to me.
Just buy bolts off of e-bay for around $25.00 then take out your shocks, stroll over to your local shop and have them installed...put shocks back in ..bingo your lowered

now you have me intreagued...there are bolts that can make my shocks turn into delux shocks (or lowered shocks) for cheaper than buying shocks...pray tell
If your going to buy new shocks dont buy the HD there are many better aftermarket shocks out there for the $. The HD Lowing kit is basicly your stock shock with the Lowering Kit installed ( a stock Deluxe Shock)
Your options for lowering the bike are
1. Air
2. Replacement shocks like Progressive, Ultima ect
3. Lowering Kit (bolts)
The Air set ups are expensive > $1000, The replacement shocks < $500 the bolt lowering kits < $125.00
They will all let you lower the bike from stock height to as much as 2.5 lower
Bought used Deluxe shocks with only 300 miles on them for $80. Money well spent! Great ride - even 2up! Lowered it one inch - look at pics in album. Took away the dirt bike look yet it still rides great, plenty of travel. These shocks are gas charged and designed for our bikes - even 2up. Go ride a Deluxe, then decide. But, do not pay retail - they come up as take offs all the time.
They are not that hard to install. You will need a bike jack and some strength, a cheater bar helps, to loosen the bolts - they are on tight!
If you want to lower your ride? Like i said go to e-bay buy the $25.00 bolts, have them installed, make sure to adjust preload, your lowered up to -2". I ride 2-up all the time with no bottom outs. The ride with lowering bolts and stock shocks are just as good as progressive when adjusted in the sweet spot, as mine are. $25.00(bolts) compared to $400.00+(progressive) do the math. No need to buy new shocks...Good luck on whatever you decide on...
