Hey everyone......this is a follow up to my "God I want exhaust" thread......
As the one gentleman said, I reached down, found a pair and just did it.....well, actually my wife gave me the A.Ok She said "Go ahead, I guess. One one condition, you drive me to Grand Rapids when it gets on..." "Uh, okay..." So not only do I get my exhaust, I get a 3 hour road trip...SWEET!!!
I ordered everything today from the dealer......ordered Vance and Hines black short shots, a K&N A/C, and a tuner. I'm PUMPED!!!!
Good for you, your little guys are thanking you as well for throwing some dignity their way. But don't be under the foolish and false impression that it will stop, you are satisfied for NOW. HD modifications is a virus!

As I said to myself when I bought my bike 3.5 years ago...It already has everything I want on it. So I have changed the tins, wheels twice, air ride, bars, seat, and the list goes on. Now it is about a mod a month if possible.

I'm getting married next month, I just ordered my exhaust, a/c, and PC V ahead of time so I won't have to ask for the go ahead. But I do have mods in mind for not only my bike but my Jeep. Her car is on the list but it's good enough for her right now.
my wife has short shots on her Sporty 1200. Not sure how it will sound on the Big Twin, but I swear at idle, her's sounds just like a top fuel dragster at the starting line at an NHRA event-you are going to LOVE this.
She thinks it's great. She told me the day after she rode her bike off the showroom floor, "can you make it louder"? uh, sure honey, no problem!
got that "old school" Harley sound to it...
the short pipes do make it loud. you will get head turns from everyone, so this is not the exhaust for people who like to blend in.
but, being V/H, it is a high quality sound, none of that "raspy", annoying sound that I hear from other aftermarket brands.
her's have been on for a year, and we have never had a LEO even look in our direction due to noise levels...they think it sounds good too....
