Default Progressive Lowering ?

I just got my lowering kit in the mail, and all that was in there was the 2 longs springs, the washers, 2 short springs, and the pcv pipes,

Isn't there suppose to be a total of 4 short springs? Just wanted to make sure before I called and complained about this, cause I really can't find anything about it but the instructions say something about using 2 in one fork

Dammit Rob I tossed my notes on what we did on mine but we followed the instructions for the 2" drop and ended up with 2 small springs at the bottom of the stack, 2 more springs on top of that and then the long springs and the section of PVC pipe.

So each fork legs actually has 4 springs and the PVC pipe to get the 2" drop as the instructions describe.

Now I cant remember what was in the box....

Or what came outta the fork stock?

If you dont figger it out PM me and I'll go find the original box and see whats in it!

Well, I've been looking online and can't find anything about it, according to the instruction sheet it should have had 4 small springs, and 2 long ones, but it only has 2 short ones...

It sounds like you could have the newer "drop in" setup. The "drop in" kit only has two short and two long springs and PVC. You cut the PVC to a length which determines how much your forks get lowered. Was just looking at that stuff today and spoke with Progressive about it. Go to ProgressiveSuspension.com and check your part number to see if it is the drop in kit. Otherwise, your kit is definitely incomplete.

Yep, that sounds exactly like the drop-in kit.

My drop in kit was like that. The box says drop in too.

Thumbs up

Yep, if it is the drop in kit it has 2 long springs, 2 short springs, 4 flat washers, and pvc tubing. I cut my pvc to the shortest allowed and got just over 2" drop. 1 of the best mods yet IMHO.

That part # is for the standard kit - not drop in.
