I'm over being mad...Kit is too nice to biatch about.
Ricks bolt was 1/4" longer as his had a lock washer plus the fact it holds down the jockey shaft...
I didnt put the lock washer on as the stock bolt is to short....Gonna get a longer bolt and see if I cant get the shaft to sit tight without havinh to Hork that bolt in there so hard.
I gotta ask this. Is it just for the "coolness" factor, or am I missing' something?
If you rode a Jockey shifted anything just once? You would be hooked Bob. Its just that much more extra fun. The feel of that tranny clunking into gear, the excitement factor of having to reach down and shift whilst grabbing a fistful of throttle.
I tool my buddies Kikker 5150 200CC Jockey shift kit bike up the road a few months back and didnt wanna come back.
My apes mocked up so sweetly. Like they were made in heaven for my train.
Then I took them to the powdercoaters....Went in as 1" old school bars. Came back fat bars. Took me 4 hours just to get them almost good enough to mount....
Then I took an Ape break and figgered my Jockey would bolt up and be on in an hour....Not.
