My beanie sits kinda low in the front. I hafta push it back often because it touches my shades and presses them down on my nose. It is the Smokey style. I found 'em on ebay for around $11 plus shipping. I need to buy a new one.... mine is all scratched up and smells like sweat.

ACC is the best and smallest DOT out there. Great customer service , if you dont like it they will custom fit it or full refund.

I found that the best place to get novelty helmets is at custom chopper shops. They usually have a pretty big selection from the $20 ones to the $100 dollar ones. That way you can try them on as opposed to buying something online that may not fit you right, or looks like a spaceship landed on your head when you get it and put it on.

Me and my brother have been riding for years now and for the first time he got hit with a $100 dollar ticket. My brother just gave up and took it. I would have a word with that cop. They all of a sudden are messing with bikers now in Frederick County MD....tHE sHERIFF SAID IT WAS A AWARENESS THIS MONTH.

Bought the Head Trip DOT Extended Half when I 1st got my bike, sent it back. Talk about mushroom head, I would rather wear a full face.

I see lots of folks wearing them here. There a couple scooter guys that I see everytime I go into town, one with a German novelty and one wearing a baseball batters helmet. Local cops don't mess with people. The Highway Patrol may be a different story. The helmet I wear came from my brother-in-law. He wore it for years without any hassle from the Fuzz. So far I haven't been ticketed (knocking on wood!).
