It's your call. I haven't had any trouble from the THP. But, one of the guys at the HD dealer said a buddy of his got ticketed by the THP, and the fine got doubled because he had a DOT sticker on a non-DOT helmet, and they also got him for loud pipes. Guess the Troopers carry db meters???
I just got back from a ride... saw at least 3 riders with novelty lids and passed several county cops along the way. Didn't get a 2nd look from the Fuzz. So I don't know what to tell ya.
