Hey went to Patriot Harley Davidson in Fairfax VA, and they had these new DOT certified German style half hemets. They looked cool but they were fricken huge! I know safety is always #1 on the list, but this was a bit much, kind of like wearing a water trough on your head. Does anybody know of ay places they sell good half helmets(be them german style or anything else) that are DOT and dont look like Im a bobble head doll?

Come on dude, its a helmet, not a fashion statement. They are all going to make you look funny unless they are fake. Yourjust going to have todeal with it.
Probally should not go there. But what is the the big deal about helmets and what they look like. personally wear a Arai Quantum that fits correct and personally I think it looks cool. With a dark tint wind shield in summer can't be beat.
Just cant believe how fashion conscience guys that ride Harleys are.
I just wonder what Gunnie would say if he heard troops pissing and moaning about their protective gear.
