Default Decent helmet

I have had a lot of trouble finding a DOT helmet, that dosnt make me look like a dick head literally lol. I know saftey is more important than looks, but you still dont wanna look like a douch on your hog. Many brands claim to be the "smallest DOT approved helmet". However they all look the same and sit high on your head. Does anyone know a brand of helmet that is DOT approved and looks decent and sits low on the head. Thanks everone

You might consider the Carbon Fiber models available. They are pretty cool, and DOT approved. Just google Carbon Fiber helmets....

Maybe you're expecting too much out of your helmet.

The Seer helmets are DOT. The ones the cops use. You'll probably have cars pull over depending on what your riding.....

A helmet is not a fashion statement. It is critical safety equipment designed to keep your head in one piece if it hits the road. Choose accordingly. No sense being the coolest looking biker in the morgue.

WARNING

Do not buy a helmet online unless you can try one on and size it "in person".

I made that mistake one or four times. You'll find yourself selling it for considerably less than you paid for it. Trust me.

I guess it depends on what you start out looking like. Maybe the helmet isn't the problem.
