the chrome in my arlen ness rear wheel has started to flake off. I know that there is no way of stopping it (or is there?).
im gonna ride the bike for now with the chrome chipping of the wheel. but i want to start thinking about what i'm gonna do once the chrome starts to peel really bad.
here are my options:1- re-chrome it. 2- do some powder coating to it or 3- try to go with a contrast cut look to the wheel.
damn u and those wheels...no luck at all, id hit ness up 1st thas bs
+1 Man that really sucks. I really feel for you. I know how much you've put into this whole thing and you deserve much better. I know your sick an tired of messing with Arlen Mess but if I were you would dig deep down and go one more round with them.
Send them back to ARLEN THE BUM, let him see his beautiful product. Ask him for a refund, why should you pay to FIX I.E. re-chrome, powdercoat HIS POOR QUALITY WORKMANSHIP!!! This BUM is rolling in other peoples hard earned money!!!

thanks for the encouraging words fellers. I am so disillusioned with Arlen Ness, never again will I buy anything from them or anything that has their name on it. it's absolute bullshit but I made the mistake of buying their product so now i'm stuck with them.
I bought the wheel through a third party, not directly through Arlen Ness, here is the problem with that. I felt like the guy that I bought the wheel from started to flake out on me towards the end of the deal so him and I had a fall out. i don't really want to deal with him again and I already know what Arlen Ness is going to say when i call them. they are going to tell me that I need to go through the dealer from which I bought the wheel from.
Now that i think about it I agree with ya Warg, I don't think powder coating the wheels will look good on my ride. So I guess re-chroming is the way to go. Any of you guys have any idea how much i would be looking at for re-chroming?
By the way, anyone in the north jersey area that knows where i can get some good Chroming done please let me know. thanks guys.
