LePera Sillouette here. A bit more padding and much more comfy than a bare bones. Sits you way back and down. I LOVE it. You really feel like you're part of the bike.
Looks nice Benway! After talking to the folks at LePera I decided to go with the Daddy Long Legs. Hope it works out for me. I will post pix once I get it.
Here's my humble offering ready for the 2013 season (If the snow & ice ever stops!).
First job this winter was to trash the reflectors and swop the tank badges. I puckered for months on the badges, but after reading a thread on here I took the plunge. Easy peasy and I'm really pleased with the outcome.
Next job was the Burly Beach Bars with Wild 1 risers & clamp. I should have had beach bars years ago - supremely comfortable (Except at very high speed, when it's like being kicked in the chest!). There's an art to mastering slow speed manoevres, but once you get used to them there's nothing better in my opinion.
Last job was the Samson 36" mini cholos and re-mapping. I was running V & H duals, but the Samsons take the biscuit for looks & sound! The mapping squeezed another 15bhp out of it - totally transformed the bike, to the point where you'd even think it wasn't H-D!!
Next jobs will be the proverbial Shotgun shock and big spoke wheels, but I'll be sticking with the 16" front for the nostalgic look.
Unfortunately, all the leaves have now fallen off the money tree! Time to knuckle down and earn some more - having just escaped my company's latest redundancy cull I'm grateful to still have the bike!!
New paint, new pipes (again) RSD stuff, billet calipers...etc. Busy winter but I gotta say at this point that I'm done at least until next year, time to ride
