Default '09 Crossbones tools

I would like to put together a toolkit to cover all maintenance and repair needs at home. Can you give me a list of what I need? Thanks!

Start with a Service manual for your bike and a good floor jack with at least a 1000 minimum weight rating.

Essentially all the Torx including the 5 big ones that go on a ratchet. So the small ones that come on a multi piece key and the big ones that are ratchet driven

Full spectrum of allen wrenches. Same as above. Small ones on a key and the larger sizes that are ratchet driven.

Big cresent wrench and a small one.

Full set of SAE open ended wrenches.

Full set of SAE sockets and various lenghts extensions.

A high quality Torque wrench.

Rubber mallet.

Soldering iron just in case.

Few flat tip screwdrivers and a couple phillips.

Then make sure you have the typical assortment of needle nose pliers, vise grips, and wire cutters.

I know I'm forgetting something but those are the ones you will use most often.

For your bones you'll want.
Motorcycle Jack - I just ordered a J&S Jack, it'll be here tomorrow!
Neck Bearing Adjustment Tool for SpringerŽ Forks
Rocker Arm Adjustment Tool for Harley-DavidsonŽ SpringerŽ Motorcycles

Last two items I picked up from A & E Hand Tools.

as for manuals, you might want to add :

Electrical Diagnostic Manual 99498-09

the service manual periodically refers to it.

Zacharia's tool suggestions are what I'll be getting (other than jack, have crapsman jack).
