Just finished my 02 softail standard custom front rim, Bigger front tire and a Fairing/radio.

Rides great!. I dont think I would have kept the small front tire on with that fairing. I know I know buy a street/roadglide but this was alot cheaper

And what the hell if I dont like it then I will buy a touring bike.

Well did not like the Fairing on the Softail the wind just tossed me all over the highway so I bought a 2012 roadglide Life is good!!!!

 

I believe you can make QD ones, but yes.. generally you are nuts...
