How to reset a PCV???

How to reset a PCV???
I know you can reset a PC III by doing this:
To "Reset" the Power Commander, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Environment Options." In the Environment Options screen, hold the control key (Ctrl) down on the keyboard and hit "R". This will bring up a "Reset Power Commander" button. Select this option and let the software reset the unit. After the unit is reset the error should go away.
But this only works using the PC III software. The PCV software is slightly different and holding down the control key doesn't work. Am I missing something? Can you even reset a PCV to begin with?
