Default Deuce front wheel question

I have that 21-inch very-narrow front wheel on my 2004 deuce. How delicate is this wheel over the wider wheel on other models? Seems to ride fine but only have 1000 miles on it so wondering what I should expect from the tire but also the integrity of the wheel. Any disadvantages to having this type of wheel?

Thank you

JK

I've put 50k on 2 Deuces with no problem other than the thinner tire is more squirrelly in grass and gravel than a wide tire

I just put a 3.5 21" on my deuce, still waiting to get it out of the shop next week. not supposed to ride different but help keep you out of grooved asphalt.

mt325, are you saying that you put a different size tire on the same stock rim? How much bigger?

He's saying he went to a 3.5" wide wheel.....probably a 120mm tire. The stock wheel is 2.15" wide.

I wondered that at first too. Both are very durable. Down side is it picks up road irregularities more than a fatter tire.
