Default My 2004 springer

Whats up all,

I came across this site and thought I would give it a try.. I was being a jackass last time I was riding and started doing burnouts.. Now while I am riding when I throttle up I dont go anywhere..Like the clutch is slipping or the belt..If I throttle up slow its fine, just if I goose it..I have never really worked on bikes and dont know whats up. Can Anyone give me some pointers. Its a 2004 fxsts springer softail..Thanks, Foot

Welcome to the forum.

The easiest thing to say is the clutch needs to be adjusted. Not a hard job but you may want to get a manual. Next would be the clutch spring, then clutch plates etc... I would start with the adjustment. Also, you may want to change out your primary case lubricant. If the clutch is wearing badly, there may be some junk in the case that could decrease the life of the primary chain, chain adjust guide etc.

Hope this helps....
