Headlamp trim ring?

Maybe return it? This ring fits great - "frenched style" trim ring. Makes the front end look beefier than the ring you got.

If your trim ring rattles, you must be missing the rubber inserts on the top(10/2 o'clock position). When I installed mine, it didn't line up, I can move it back and forth and it rattled, finally I noticed that the rubber inserts were missing, shim it and it works. Nice and tight, I don't see a problem there.
