I have 10k kms. on my rear Dunlop. It appears well worn but I don't see any 'wear bars' yet.

...look for the arrows on the sidewalls..they point to the wear indicators ...the wear bars are the 'slick' areas between the treads in the center of the tire...my Dunflops were worn out at about 9k...
on the harley tire there is a harley logo in the tread and when it is gone they consider the tire worn. I think you said 10000 kilometer and not miles. I get 8000 to 10000 miles on mine. do the math
