Default swing-arm bearings

Has anyone pressed in swing-arm bearings in a 06 softail? Just wondering if theres anything special to do to install them.

Nothing special. I bought a bolt with cup installer kit off ebay. Works like a champ.

06 softail needs a swing arm bearing? How long does swing arm bearing usually last? I am just curious.

I would imagine they should last as long as the bike, with proper care.
But if you change the swing arm for a wider or chromed one its possible that they don't come with the bearings installed.

Was just reading up on the swing arm in the service manual where it states:

"The spherical bearings are lifetime lubricated and will require no further attention other than cleaning. The sleeve type spherical bearings, if not damaged, will last the life of the motorcycle ...."

so what is the life of the motorcycle. is that like the guarantee on the cassette tapes? "lifetime guarantee for as long as they last".
