Default Thinking about fitting Beach Bars

I keep thinking about fitting beach bars, I feel the drag bars look to narrow for the low wide stance my bike has got, also as the frame has been stretched it will help control the 'drop' when doing slow turns.....what do you think?

Beach it or Ape it...One or the other. Drag bars on a Fatty? No good IMO.

Just what I was thinking, prefer to go with beach bars.

Is it a tricky job and how long do these take to fit, I only get to ride my bike when I visit Florida (try and get over twice a year) and time is normally tight, I want to ride my bike not do changes.

If you wire the bars internally and you will most likely need to replace throttle, brake and clutch cables schedule yourself at least an 8-10 hour day if you are crafty with a wrench and wiring.

You have alot going on there. Gonna hafta pull the tank, Extend and Run the longer wires through the bars to the plugs, Two front brake lines to replace and bleed, Throttle cables are 4 minutes so that no biggie but looks like those pipes are gonna hafta come off the bike to replace yer' clutch cable. Make sure you have a big set of C-Ring pliers and a new gasket for that clutch cover and you should get new exhuast gaskets while your at it.

Its a project for sure. Just did mine and took my time on it. Indy shop would probably want $400 maybe $500 bucks to do it so if you can wrench?

If not so crafty it could easily stretch into a second day.

The drag bars will probably still give you best control for due to their design. I like drag's, but those drags look killer on their. You are suffering from tmf (too much forum!)
