You sure your not referring to the stock tail light lens. There's lots of room between that and the fender and its one of the primary reasons I got rid of the ugly thing.
No, I'm referring to the Tri-Bar LED.

There is enough of a gap to be creative.

From that picture, it looks like there is enough of a gap, between the fender and light, to put some kind of LED light strip or something. Curious to see the end result when it's done and ready though.

I'm referring to the small gap between the top of the light and the tip of the fender. My plan is to somehow get a string of amber LEDs that sequence from the center-out, to signal left and right, and remove the stock signal off the side of the fender.

OK, I'll go for that and depending on how it looked I might be very interested in one.

Yep, we're on the same page with that. I think it would look great, so be sure and hit us up with some pictures.
