I am buying my first Harley. Put a deposit down on an 09 Crossbones customized at Wicked Ways Customs yesterday... I pick it up Wednesday. Hopefully my week won't drag!
I was so excited that I didn't take any pics with my phone.
I know the paint is custom Red and Antique white like the old Classics I think Jake said, and they removed the rear fender and replaced it with a Fatboy fender. I didn't like the spring seat so it has a badlander seat on it. Other then that this is a completely new world for me. All I know is my boyfriend said I can no longer ride B*tch on the back of his cause I'll be riding B*tch on the back of my own!
I am thinking of having them put crash bars in it just in case as this is my first big bike. A huge difference from the CBR 600rr that I'm used to.
Welcome to the softail family. You will quickly see this bike is not as hard to ride as you think a heavy bike would be. Low center of gravity makes them almost balance on their own. My only warning is be careful of your left pant leg wrapping around the back shift peg when you pull up to stop all of a sudden $H!T my leg is stuck. Post pics when you get them
