Yah for sure, that was quite amazing not breaking anything. Although i nearly lost it trying to push that rubber grommet through the casing of the headlight.
It'll be a miracle if i can put it back together without scratching it.

That's where I ran into problems. The cheap metal light housing chipped even after sanding, priming, sanding, priming, sanding, painting, etc etc.
Good luck with the reassembly...and fck that grommet, I almost bought an aftermarket light because of it and the damn Hercules bolt...
Haha, don't worry, that was going through my mind. "hmm, fck this, time to buy an aftermarket". Got a touch up paint brush for any damage caused when reinstalling, hopefully won't be to much.
Got itchy fingers and pulled off the rear fender bolts and painted em also this arvo.
i pulled my front end parts around my head light off today... i know what you mean about the reassembly part. it will be a miracle if nothing get screwed up on the reassembly part. I am painting this evening ... keep your fingers crossed!

good work dude. It might have been easier to just slide the tank back to get to the plug. But i guess you still had to undo one of the plug ends in order to get the rubber grommet off. Lets see some more pics of the headlight and bolts ...
