Are going to trade in you 06 on a new one?I do not care for the fatboy lo, myself, but then I do not like blacked out bikes. I do not really care for the wheels either.

greater pullback.

I like the look of it - except for the wheels...would take me a while to get used to them. The pipe tips blend with the fork lowers to tie the bike together. I'd still change the pipes out to the V&H Longshots black and then powdercoat the lowers in flat black so they still stand out from the bike and tie in with the new pipes...just my 2 cents -

Greetings,

I was very close to trading my Rocker C for one of these...Sat on it and everything. For whatever reason I just liked the feel of the Wide Glide better and I've owned nothing but Softails.

I just wish they hadn't of put the pinstripping on it. That and the fatbob pipes are the things that bother me about the new wg.

I saw the new FATBOY LO this weekend, it is a cool bike. I am not into the blacked out thing, however I like the metal tank badge. I like the job that HARLEY did though.

man i tell you what... i sat on the new LO last night! what a bad *** bike it is!!! the mufflers match the engine covers exactly and really ties the whole bike together. also got to see a few other new models, including the wide, which i think the fatboy lo is much better looking. i was very impressed with this new fatboy. im into the blacked out look, as you may be able to tell. so the flat black paint mixed with a bit of brushed chrome and gloss black was great!!! i've never thought about selling my street bob untill i saw this bike. started wondering what i could sell or trade my bob for and how much more my payments would be. man, thats a sweet bike and the more i think about it the more i want to ride the damn thing! i had better get out of this thread now before i go off and do something crazy!

You know, when I sat on a stock fatboy I sortof thought the same thing. I sat on the deluxe right next to the fatboy and I loved the position of the bars. So when the time is finally right for me to move up, I'm going to get a set of deluxe bars, slap em on the fatboy, and bam, I think I'll be comfy.
