sounds like a common problem with our rocker is a cupping problem with the front tire.. does anyone know why the tire is offset in the forks and if any other softail has a offset tire?
Well...are you sure you've been running the proper pressure and checking it every time before you ride? When I traded mine off with 8400 miles on it my front tire wasn't cupped at all.
I dont know how many miles you got on ye bike or the road conditions which you ride on. As for my front tire, I have 5500 miles and rode through some neck braking turns and no cupping ...or at least yet. This topic does interest me though...I will stay tuned.
check my pressure every week, doesn't matter still cupped. seems alot of people have this problem and it's weird that pressure would be the problem. I don't think that there are that many neglegent people on this site. I have had a couple of bikes in the last couple of decades and this is the first that has "cupped" the front tires. Kind of weird in my opinion.
Mine cupped around 5000 and I've got 6500+ now. I have to be honest and say I didn't check my pressure regularly and have attribute it to that since it hasn't gotten any worse. I checked it regularly after that... and I'll do the same after I change it out with a fatter front tire...
