Be aware that now Ur reserve may only be a few miles instead of a gallon...
Did the same effect with longer tubes back in the 70's and My reserve gas got me another 3 miles down the road...

I did the 2" tank lift on my 04 Fat Boy when I added 10" drag bars from Wild 1 Chubby. I needed the 10" bars...they brought the grips up and back about 1 1/2"...what I needed to stop the back pain on long rides. The 2" tank lift was just right with the higher handle bars, and the speedo is easier to see when riding. Most folks don't even notice my tank lift. ...and I agree, the 3" would have been too much for me anyways...although 3" looks fine on a Duece.

Thanks for the heads up 1949. I was wondering how that was going to effect my mileage and stuff....I might just carry a bottle of gas in a gatorade bottle and just let it run dry once to determine max range......

I can see the competition starting to brew between you and neighbor seeing who can out do the other.
