I think FL bikes look better with thick bars. A buddy of mine put the old WG bars on his bike. I tried to talk him out of it. He regretted that until the day he sold it.
Yeah, no doubt 1 1/4" bars look best. You gotta go with the 12.5 mini at a minimum which then forces you to change all cables... $50 bars work great - for now
I still have my stock bars and pushed them foward to get the most height out of them the look alright but they put my wrists in an akward position. I've had them pulled back for a while ever since I bought it for comfort.
I did the same thing. My lower back couldn't take the pulled back position.... but when I pushed them forward I couldn't ride 30 minutes before my fingers went numb. I got 16" Apes and now all is good!
