I went with the Wild Ones too. I have the 504's on mine with the stock risers.

You are correct. I have an 2007 Heritage and my hubby has the 2005 Wide Glide. His bars are just like the ones on the 2009. They changed a couple of things in 2007, found that they goofed and changed them back. Go figure I would have the bike that they goofed on.

I want his bars and he is going to get new ones. He is 6'2' so I am thinking that he should need at least 16-18 apes. Any suggestions? Does anyone have the correct way to measure bars? This way if you want one at a swap meet you know how to measure them.

Not sure they are the same bar as the 09 Heritage. The part number for the 09 Heritage is 56569-09. I am trying to figure out if the '09 Heritage bars can also can be simply swapped onto an older Heritage without changing the riser or cables. The 09 Heritage bars are 3" higher, 3/4" wider at the grips, and have 2" more pullback than the WG bars. It is possible the site I got these dimensions from is wrong. If the WG bars are taller, can straighten out my hands, and let me sit up straight, that is all the better.
Here is a link to the site...

Anyone done a swap for the new Heritage bars?
