It's crossed my mind. I was actually planning on calling in Thursday and Friday, but got excited and wanted to get started today. Oh well, it's all good, it WILL be done before the weekend either way!!
haha.............. jus go in friday with a hang over and say you cant finish the day your still sick........................and bring the ole lady for a ride and make er happy........
Your bike is awesome looking. I have the same exhaust set up on mine. I still have not decided what size but 16" looks like it would fit me pretty good.
Thanks.
Still a work in progress.
I'm about 6'2" and the bars are working real nice.
The seat your running will make a difference on how the bars feel.
Best seat I've run so far seems to be the Brawler.
Looking at doing this very soon. Looking at either 14 or 16" I am 6'2 255 lbs. Does anyone have pics to share as I could not locate the train pic thread? Also what company do you recommend for a complete set up? Checked out carlini they seemed high priced. Was looking at wild one chubbys. Or heartland something like that. Anyway input as to all parts I will need and pics would be greatly appreciated!!!
I have custom made bars from BRCustomCycles. You should check them out. They make several different styles of bars. And he'll custom make them for you too. Mine are 16" to the tips.
Look on ebay for a complete set up. Hill Country Cycles normally have them on there. Also, do a search on here. There have been ALOT of threads just like this. And I put a link to HCC store on ebay on one here recently.
As promised, here are some pics of the new bars. Bike is FRESH from the wash baby. Called in again today to get it done. Let me know what you guys think.
daaaymn..........looks sick.....cant wait to get mine done this winter...............you remember the cable lengths.....???
Thanks DB. I went six over on all the cables and the brake line. I can get the actual lengths from the invoice, if you need em' man. They all fit perfect. The brake line could of been just a little bit shorter, but it's all good. The 12" apes were said to be right around 10" at the grips, plus the 2" risers.
