Looking at doing this very soon. Looking at either 14 or 16" I am 6'2 255 lbs. Does anyone have pics to share as I could not locate the train pic thread? Also what company do you recommend for a complete set up? Checked out carlini they seemed high priced. Was looking at wild one chubbys. Or heartland something like that. Anyway input as to all parts I will need and pics would be greatly appreciated!!!
Here are 16" Carlini Gangster apes on 1.75" risers.
Magnum cables. Recommend at least +12 on all cables and brake line.
I went +10 and they are a little tight.

Your bike is awesome looking. I have the same exhaust set up on mine. I still have not decided what size but 16" looks like it would fit me pretty good.
I'm in the process of installing some 12" Khrome Werks narrow apes with 2" risers. Called in today from work, since the parts were due today. Got it tore apart and had it ready to go when the parts got here. Drilling my own bars turned into more of a job than I was expecting, so I didn't get all the way done today. Tomorrow will be finishing the wiring, and since I was due for a fluids change and had to drain the trans anyway, I will be doing all the fluids also. So, when I get it all buttoned back up and done, I will post up some pics. At least running the wires internal was a chit load easier on these bars than the 10" straight rise t-bars I had on before. That was actually the easiest part of the whole damn thing!! Went 6 over on all my cables and the fit was perfect. I can't freaking wait to get this done and take it for a ride, and then do some staring. Hell, I may just call in tomorrow also, cough cough.............

Maybe one of these ------> . Thanks for the compliment man. My next project will be a jockey shifter, with the clutch lever on the shifter, assuming I can find one. I also still have the front fender idea and would love to be able to afford the Heartland kit. Oh well, still waiting for the money tree I planted to bloom .
