Tough to say without seeing the vette but if you are asking 7 for it I think the bike is pretty close to trade value. If you like it then I say go for it!!

Ok the bikes not worth 14K so he's BSing you. It depends on what the Vette is really worth. I think I would sell the car for the 7 grand and forget that bike. A couple of G'sss more, you can find the newer twin cam version with a little patience and provided you get 7 for the Vette. The question is how's the market for that Vette in 7 grand condition?
