YOU'LL GET USED TO IT, RUNNING AMSOIL 75-90 GEAR LUBE! ALLEN KEY LENGTH WAYS UP INTO SCREW, AND USE CLOSED END OF COMBO. WRENCH TO TURN SHORT END, NO ISSUES. GOOD LUCK

No issues with getting the plug out. No lift? The Belray works fine in the wife's Deluxe. She complained a bit about having problems finding neutral on first ride out but that must've been her because no more problems after. No difference in clunking detected, still a Harley.

You need Redline Shockproof Heavy. An extension on a socket makes it relatively easy to get to the drain plug. 5/8" if I recall correctly.

I use a 5/8 socket and extention, slips right between the shocks. I feel like you get a better bite than using the allen in the center. I also dont like to use a jack to change the fluids , it gets in the way, I put my bike in a wheel chock to stand it up and then drop the drain plugs.

I tried Bel Ray and swithched to Redline V Twin Transmission with Shockproof , it is a full synthetic and has made my transmission shift better than the Bel ray, Syn 3 or HD Formula

next time ill try a stubby 5/8 & angle extension
the regular extension bumps the shock

Even with the socket... you'll rub the shock a little... lol Atleast we can do it ourselves.
I've heard very good things about the Redline Shockproof, but never tried it?
