No way??

Why?

Is the price differnce enough to make your own Fat-Boy Lo' thats maybe more unique and cooler than the store bought version?

I suppose if you gotta have that flat paint or something?

But dang why not take an 09' or a used one along a pocketfull of savings and do your own thang?

Maybe I need to take a trip down to the dealership and see what all the fuss is about. I just think a Softails, A softail is a Softail. Mod it, Color it, Ride it, Make it yours kinda deal?

While I was at the dealer this past weekend I also checked out the Fatboy Lo nice bike I like the way they are playing with the black and the brushed alum... Not a bad looking bike.
i did ask what they were going for though? The dealer in Hawaii had a Denim Black and a Vivid Black... I liked the Denim one better maybe because it's defferent from the rest?

i just checked one out. Not a big fan of the gloss black black fork cover with the flat paint. Pick one color and go with it.

I gotta agree....Why no way to an '09? I bet you can save a few grand on the '09 and maybe get a free helmet or leather jacket too. Chances are if you get the FB Low, you're still going to drop some coin on it making it your own. So why not save some money up front, get a vivid black '09 FB, lower it and do the things to it that would make you happy? Just wonderin'....Good luck whichever route ya go....

I have an 09 that I kind of made into a lo. I put the half moon boards on it. Deluxe shocks and as soon as the seat is available I want to buy one. Best part is mine is blue and chrome version black forks and satin primary and console not my thing. But keep in mind most of what makes that bike different you will change anyway pipes, A/C, bars (those drag bars are not that great on that bike) Apes or beaches much more suited for a fatty. So if the price is right on an 09 I would atleast consider. But I will say the badges on the Fatboy Lo are killer.
