Personally I think that style pipe is not for a deluxe.
I like the Big Radius pipes just think they look better on say a Rocker.
As for a suggestion try Bub Jughuggers.
Great fit and finish, deep rumble and pretty LOUD!

Just curious, but why do you like those pipes? Not trying to sound like a dick. I just hate those pipes, looks and sound, and wanted to know what people see in them? Obviously everyones opinion is different.
Just wondering.
06 you don't sound like a dick at all...... in fact you're going to fit into this forum quite well!!!
Samson True duals with straight fishtails. Deafening rumble for sure. Although, since I got longer fishtails it is a bit quieter, it is still loud. In case you are going to ask, straight pipes mean no baffles at all.
i have V&H longshots and they sound great, loud but not obnoxious. it all depends on your motor, compression, cam and timing. i have heard 2' straight pipes on a stock motor that almost sounded stock.
+1 for the V&H Longshots. I absolutely love the sound, looks and get a lot of compliments on them. And I've set off my fair share of car alarms (which is always a good feeling).
Big Radius on a Deluxe sounds a bit "different" for the overall look of that style of bike. I had Samson Big Gun 3's on before I lowered my bike and made it rigid and they sounded better than the V&H. A throatier tone as opposed to the Big Radius slap in the face growl. I plan on replacing the baffles with some Big City Thunders and try to get that Samson sound back. The BR complement the look of my bike because of the flow of the lines. A Deluxe "seems" to need that old school long shot look to be "right," but that perception is the in the eye of the owner. Whatever makes you smile when you see and hear it is the right set of pipes. Good luck with your decision. Post pictures when you're done!
When I first got my Fatboy it had Hooker Longshots w/out baffles They were some of the loudest pipes I ever heard on a stock bike. Since then I have installed a D&D Fatcat w/ the standard baffle and was a little disappointed w/ the sound in stock trim but the bottom end power increase was amazing. Since I've done the motor upgrades it has gotten much louder. One of my buddies has some mid length Hookers on his Heritage and they are really loud as well. I personally like the sound of the Hookers better than the V&H's they have a rawer sound to them.
I'm kind of surprised no one has mentioned the Samson ground pounders. It's what I have on my bike and they are as loud as any other exhuast I've heard--and I don't believe I'm being biased.
Anytime you have a pipe which is turned down towards the ground you're going to get a louder sound since the sound "bounces" off the conrete. My bike is also lowered 2" so the "sound" doesn't have to travel as far either.
The bad thing about pipes which are turned down is that they kick road dirt up on riders behind you.
Some friends of mine have VH big radius and VH slash cut pipes. Neither are as loud as my Samsons. Another friend has VH dual long pipes with baffles and we tell him his bike sounds like a Honda. It's not that bad but teasing him is always fun being he's a "one-upper" kind of guy...!!!!
