Today was my first chance on the bike (someone watched our little ones!!! and my helmets came) .. I had a blast. it was great just to be with my husband and just relax and enjoy the view. On the downside, the sissy bar that was on it when he bout it is too short and I would like a bigger, more padded one. I'm trying to find links to different ones to show him (he isn't against getting a whole new seat). He has an 01 Softail Heritage Classic.
Anyone have a comfy sissy bar that the rider likes? THanks in advance for any help
The best thing for ideas and pictures is look at the dealer parts book. There are several heights for sissybars and a variety of backrest pads. Then if you want to save big $$$, go shopping on EBay. Type in Harley Heritage Softail and look to your hearts content.
Visit the Harley-Davidson web site and check accessories for his model. Or better yet, pick up a catalog at you dealer. There are a bunch of fixed and detachable systems available.
